Legal Advice - (Florida) Animals control, school board, and kid showing psychopathic type behaviors

(Florida) Animals control, school board, and kid showing psychopathic type behaviors

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 06:06 PM PST

This is a long story. Long story short my kid was diagnosed ASD. A lot of behaviors I had seen I chalked up to the autistic spectrum disorder (child is in therapy, which was severely neglected. This is on both parents, including me, and I am now shoving him in therapy for more than once a week). This included calculated harm to people by putting chemicals in their drinks, hurting animals, ect. The child in question is now 12 and in middle school. This escalated to him killing several animals, and trying to kill my fiance. Called the cops when he did it to baker act him and police said they couldn't do anything due to his diagnosis.

    Had him voluntarily committed.

He was very quickly released due to other parent preventing care/treatment.

He is now to date escalating weekly--threats of suicide/self harm/hurting animals and now a sexual molestation incident I am pretty sure the school is hiding (we received an email stating it was witnessed to have been occurred, and now everyone is saying they don't know anything). DCF won't do anything because it's a child abusing others, and though the mental health has been neglected (for too long) he's in therapy now so it's AOK. Animal control is now involved and we are about to be fined for these issues due to them having gone on so long.

He has made threats upon me and my partner and acted them out. We consider him a danger to himself, others and us due to the circumstances. Due to parenting plan agreements, I cannot have him committed because I do not have decision making authority.

What the hell do I do to get someone to do something? The police are involved, incident reports of the most recent events have been made. I'm honestly ready to take the punishments at this point but I'm trying to prevent my son from doing further damage. He knows how to act way stupider than he is and manipulate people into thinking he's ...more disabled than he is. He is methodical, intelligent and calculated in his actions. He knows exactly what he is doing. Who do I reach out to for help if DCF won't do a damn thing?

No one believes us half the time because of the fact he plays coy/stupid and does it insanely well. Does anyone know some legal steps we can take to go above everyone's head? All this does not even begin to paint the picture of the mess this is. Any insight or advice would be much appreciated.

[Lynnwood WA] Tesla unable to fix 2021 Model S, further damaged it and refusing to fix damage they caused unless I stop pressing them to fix safety system fault.

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 05:20 AM PST

edit Can mods lock this post? Tesla has offered me options that I'm happy with for the time being.

    WA State

TLDR: Rear camera system faulty, a required safety feature here, (green line - https://i.imgur.com/tnOQqjG.jpg) in 2021 Tesla Model S. Tesla says they don't know how to fix the camera. Service center has damaged paint three times, most recent a 16" scratch (buffed out) and a door ding to the metal. General manager threatening not to fix paint damage unless I let up on my demands to fix the camera system. Where to now?

    Longer Version:

I'm at this point my new car has spent more days at service than nights in my garage. 90%+ of the millage on it is to or from the service center, or from their techs test driving my car. It has received damage to the paint each time the service center has attempted repairs. They have been unable to reproduce the camera issue, but I have 7 videos of it occurring and they provided written acknowledgement that it is a known issue. They admit in writing they don't know how to fix the camera, despite their own forums full of identical issues, with a simple fix.

I want both my paint and camera system fixed, or to be made whole some how if they can't fix it (refund, plus buyback of accessories or swapping cars). I don't think I qualify for WA Lemon Law, but they flat out tell me they can't fix the car.

Where do I go from here?

    Timeline:

11/2/2020 SC notified me my car was ready for delivery, I picked it up. Noted various interior damage and something on the bumper. Some damage could not be fixed that day due to part availability. Car went back in immediately for service after delivery to fix interior panel that fell out, and the bumper. Sales helped me setup a mobile appointment at my home to fix the remaining issues. Solution for the bumper was to apply paint to whatever was on it, instead of cleaning the bumper. Interior panel was "fixed". Drove off lot, interior panel fell off.

11/3/2020 I contact sales about panel falling off again, and how they painted overtop glue/gunk on the bumper.

11/4/2020 Green line appears in backup camera (mandatory safety equipment on new cars here) - https://i.imgur.com/tnOQqjG.jpg Matches well known issue that has plagued this brand for the last few years. A CCD fault, with a simple fix of replacing the camera. This is added to the mobile service ticket.

11/10/2020 Mobile service arrives (4hr away from service center) and notifies me in person that they didn't bring any parts to fix my car. He does manage to fix my panel by bending the tabs attaching it to the car

11/11/2020 Unannounced I drive 4hr to Tesla dealership, they take my car, promise to keep it until it's fixed. Car is checked in, and no additional damage outside what was damaged upon delivery is noted.

11/18/2020 10:53pm (yeah that late) Tesla notifies me that my car is ready for pickup

11/19/2020 I arrived to pick up my car. Service manager tells me it isn't fully fixed, and that it was the night crew's fault for notifying me it was. Paint shop did sand and repaint bumper. They refuse to keep the car, and tell me I must take it back with malfunctioning camera. I am given a service slip stating the camera issue is a known concern, but they don't know how to fix it and will not be keeping the car. The car now has a 16" scratch, and a door ding chip. They buff the scratch out, but refuse to keep the car to fix the camera. The general manager tells me if i keep pressing them to fix the camera, that they will not be fixing the door ding after I press for assistance from someone above the sales and service managers. Camera system storage was disconnected, and video footage appears missing, so I have no footage of repair attempts nor paint damage occurring.

    edit: correct year

Employer wants to force me to take PTO or make up hours for attending mandatory training

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 07:31 AM PST

Hello, just looking for some insight here. Im a federal contractor and our project requires each member to obtain a certification that is a two day course followed by an examination. The course is 8 hours a day for two days during business hours. Company is telling me that since its training, those 16 hours cant be billed to the customer so we the employees have to take PTO or make up the hours during the pay period in order to be paid for those two days. So unless I dont want to burn up my PTO, which Im saving up for my wedding, I have to work an extra 16 hours across a week. Is this legal?

Edit: This is in Virginia, sorry I forgot to include that.

    Backyard Gun Range

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 05:38 PM PST

Just as a preface, I purchased 26 acres out in the country just to get away from the city life. I'm a big 2nd amendment supporter and an avid hunter. I have no problems with shooting or hunting for fun/sport. However, I want you to be safe about it.

I have 4 neighbors and have a great relationship with 3 of them. The neighbor in question has a couple of acres in front of me that is adjacent to my property. He built a homemade gun range in the back of his property. It is literally 6" off of his property line. It is aiming over 2 driveways, a rental home, and my property. They shoot during all hours of the day and even after dark (pistols, AR's, and high powered rifles). I don't care what you do as long as your safe, which this isn't at all.

My problem... All the neighbors have spoken to this one problem neighbor. His response is the same... "I try to be careful." I have spoken to to sheriff department and until someone is hurt/potentially killed, there is nothing they can do. This is not acceptable. Surely there are guidelines that must be met. Codes governing how the structure is built and where they can be placed? Where can I search for guidance? Any help is appreciated!

Can I get a vaccine without parental consent?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 06:17 PM PST

I'm 16 and live in Tennessee. My mom is refusing to let me get a flu shot. I'm wondering if I could go to Walgreens and get a flu shot without my mom present.

I assume I can, but I wanna make sure so I don't embarrass myself by not knowing.

I get the flu every single year I don't get a shot (usually during exams), and I'd rather not risk it this year. I've gotten in trouble with truancy too much so I cannot miss school this year lol.

Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit, I couldn't really find a better fit. I've tried looking on Tennessee's website, but I can only find what vaccines are mandatory instead of what I'm looking for.

Mail Carrier claims dog bit them

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 09:05 PM PST

My friend recieved a letter from the usps claiming that when a mail carrier had their hand inside the mail slot his dog bit them and they're coming to take the dog to be put down tomorrow.

He lives in Philadelphia PA if that matters.

Why would the mail carrier stick their hand through the slot enough to get bit?

What can my friend do to not have his dog taken away? He probably needs to lawyer up?

My soon to be Ex-Husband doesn't want to pay for the $1000s of debt he put under my name without telling me during our marriage. Is there resorces I can reach out to to legaly persue this or am I just screwed?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 08:13 AM PST

I was told to post this here. I appoligize for my spelling and grammer. I am autistic and have dyslexia.

I married what I thought was the love of my life and high school sweatheart at age 20 right before he joined the army 'to help support us'. Two years down the line and I found out he cheated on me when I found everything from porn videos of him in Army uniform to photos of him having sex with another girl on my 21st birthday cause he was angry at me, to texts once I got into his phone with 2 women and a man he is still with to this day (he is Bi) and had been cheating since we started dating back in high school. It was a train wreak to say the least not even mentioning the financial and emotional neglect and abuse he put me through during our marrige.

Before I left however I found out at the beginning of our marrige he used a huge amount of money solely under my name buying things for him and his side peices on my credit cards I never really used myself. He then didn't pay a dime on them and they have hit collections and collected insane amounts of intrest. We are talking $4000+ which is a huge amount for someone whos never had a yearly gross over $15,000. After we moved for the army to TX he never let me try to go to school to be a vet like he promised or even work for the 2 years I was with him and would take away any and all electronics including my cell phone at one point so I couldn't even fill out applications or talk to friends or family. If I manged to via another device and mentioned even the dumbest negitive thing about him he would yell how I was disrespectful and how things like that should be kept private and take away my electric I was using.... (again I know I was a idiot). He would never give me any money and constantly scream how I was using him for money if I asked for anything while he spent upwards of $400 a month on video games or other luxury items for him as he would tell me he deserved it as he was the one who earned the money. So I have no job experience and no education to back me up to even look at a good job (Again....I know I was dumb. I hope to go to college soon as I can).

Ive been away from this and trying to get a divorce while surviving completely on my own for a year now. He has been giving me $300 every 2 weeks when Ive been told because he is Army he is supposed to have been giving me BHA around $700 per 2 weeks. I cant cover food costs yet alone my divorce, rent, electric, etc on the $300 he gives me that barely covers our phone bill and costs of the debt he has ammased while I still have money to so much as eat. Ive tried calling his Sargent but he has been going through the process of being kicked out of the Army for a year now and he doesn't care to help me at all. Im at a loss. I just lost my job due to having to leave my home I was at with my parents I went back to out of desperation with promise of helping pay for myself but left after needing stitches down my back because my sister thought letting my cat get attacked by their 300lbs russian bear dog would be funny like in Tom and Jerry (she is very, very heavily autistic), along with many other safety issues. I am now rooming with a friend with promise of helping with my own costs once I can find a job....

But that recent job search had to stop....I and everyone living with me recently caught Corona viruses and now my ex is getting out of the Army in 2 weeks and plans to leave the state to be with his boyfriend and wants to stop paying for the debts and bills he wracked up for me cause he wont make as much money anymore. Plus on top of everything I am about to be out of insurance as my insurance was from Tricare through him as we are technically still married and I cant drive to get to resorces to help me as I have seizures and definitely cant pay for Uber or Lyft. Im scared and sick and swimming in so much debt while he holds it over my head and all but laughs about it. I cant even afford a lawyer to even think about fighting it myself when I barely can afford to eat and am couch surfing so I am not homeless.... Im terrified and I need advice on how to handle this? Is there any way I can force him to keep up his payments or pay off the debts?

My employer is paying me for sick leave only if I make up the missed hours later. Can they do that?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 07:09 PM PST

I am an exempt salaried employee. I was placed in quarantine by my state due to being in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. My employer said they would pay me for the time I would miss since "it was no fault of [my] own" if I would agree to make up the missed hours when I return to work, either by working extra hours each day or working an extra day on the weekends.

They gave me 2 options. 1) Get paid now and make up the hours later or 2) Do not get paid for missed work.

My question is can they actually offer to pay me for sick leave but require I make up the hours upon returning to work?

NOTE... My employer did not offer or promise any paid sick leave during the onboarding process. This offer to "make up" the hours for paid sick leave was only offered after being placed into quarantine. Not sure if that matters for legal reasons.

[TX] Apparently there is a car registered to my name with my po box, that I know nothing about. What can I do?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 03:44 PM PST

Today I had an interview with Health & Human Services, and during the interview I was asked about vehicles registered in my name - I told her the make, model, and year of my vehicle, and she asked about the one that was registered in September of 2020. I said I don't know, it's certainly not mine. She knew the make, model, and year of the car and that it was registered in my full name to my PO box. She finally believed me when I convinced her it wasn't my car and I have absolutely no information about it. After the interview was finished, I called the DMV for my county and explained the situation, and was told they can't do anything without knowing the VIN or plate number (which I don't have because I don't know anything about this car). What are my options moving forward here? What can I do to find out more about this and get it straightened out? Thank you in advance!

    Famous Musician Stole Song

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 08:08 AM PST

I'm writing this for my partner because he doesn't use reddit. My partner is an electronic music composer. He made the mistake of posting some of his music online a while back. Then one day about a year later he hears a song on the radio by a famous musician and the background music is one of his songs. Like exactly. Pretty unaltered from what we can tell, just essentially the singing put in with it. You can play them side by side and they line up perfectly. He has the originals of the song which would be older than the originals that they have. What is out course of action? We don't have a lot of money and don't know what to do.

Am I wrong for asking for more time?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 06:59 PM PST

    Please help?

I was recently diagnosed with Covid-19 on 11/15/2020. I live in an at will state and I'm worried my job might not be secured. I work part time at a well known auto parts store. I was working on the 15th and got sick mid shift ... I went straight to a clinic where I tested positive. They gave me a document that reads something like " person is not to return to work until a Covid test results negative. As well as person is not eligible for retest for 7 - 10 days.

I got a call today on ( 11 / 20 / 2020 ) day 5 of my 10 day quarantine that I was scheduled for Tuesday the 24th (8 am - 5 pm ) and told I would have to do the Covid test on my lunch or own time. Rather than waiting for the results to come in. I know it's 4 days away but I still have trouble with energy and standing for long periods of time right now... it just seems like I'm being rushed back in before I am better. I want to be totally Covid free before returning to work because I know how bad things can get.

I tried confronting my boss with the notion I needed a negative test before I return but he just told me it would come out of my sick leave after that. Is that right or am I over stepping my boundaries to ask more time?

We bought out retirement home over two years ago from the seller from hell in Southeast Florida. She is still having packages delivered here on a regular basis. This week we got three from various carriers, all from online purchases. At first we declined them, we sent some back to the sender, now I am stacking them up in my garage. What is my responsibility here?

Web photo storage service shut down (NC)(USA)

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 08:04 PM PST

This post is for a family member. From what I can tell is also affecting people everywhere. So with that said, this may have been posted here before but I did not see it. If this is breaking any rules please let me know so that I can fix it. I did edit out some specific information as I did not realize that was not allowed in the sub.

As the title mentions, the photo storage website that FM has been using for over a decade has by all accounts terminated everything to do with their service. Their website no longer exists other than a single page letting you know that the platform has shut down and that all user content will be deleted. The problems that I am having are the following,

    1) There was absolutely no effort by the company to warn, notify, or let anybody know that this was happening. No emails, physical mail, etc.

(This isn't exactly the type of website where you are logging in daily to check on your photos, so our first notice of this was today when FM tried to access account.)

    2) There is no longer any way to retrieve files stored on the platform.

    3) This was not a free service.

FM had purchased the a lifetime membership option for a sizable amount of money years ago for storage on their platform.

    4) All the research that I could find suggests that this started with some sort of synchronized server and backup server loss (not sure how this even happens) followed by an announcement that that they (business in question) would be *doing what they could to help customers until the site was officially closed.

Now with that said, it appears that they did absolutely nothing at all to help the situation because every account I have heard is from people unable to retrieve their photos whatsoever (my situation), dealing with corrupted files (when they still could access them as you no longer can), or 100% no response from *business support at all.

FM had thousands of photos stored with both sentimental and legal value. Yes I do recognize that this might not have been a wise decision but I also feel like this situation is kind of insane, and it seems that the end of operations was some sort of shady attempt to just pull all stops and run. I understand server use has a cost to the business, but how hard would it have been to send notifications of closure in excess advance and give customers easy access to transfer or download their file?? This wasn't exactly a small scale operation so the business would have known well in advance if they were planning on shutting down. So my questions are,

Is there any recourse here at all?

Is it worth pursuing if so? What will be the outcome?

Is there any way to get these photos back? I'm fairly certain that they are long gone but FM is holding out hope. And same for the membership fees.

    *edited out specific info/quotes

Not sure which flair would apply here, seems to fit a few.

    Thanks, everybody.

Dealership charged me for service they never provided

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 07:01 PM PST

At the end of September we bought a car from a dealership in Utah. They charged $700 for a protective undercoating in our purchase agreement which honestly I didn't notice and I will be more careful in the future! Come to find out, the undercoating was never done. I contacted the dealership last week and their solution was for me to bring the car in to have it done. I live over an hour away so this would not be convenient for me at all. I requested my money back and they refused saying I should have noticed sooner and the loan has already been funded so they can't send me money. The sales manager called and offered me a few hundred "out of his own pocket" because he felt bad about the situation but said the dealership would absolutely not return my money. Do I have any recourse here or should I take the small amount he's offered and cut my losses?

[TX] Rented home with what I thought was 15+ acres, landlord has restricted me to 1 acre.

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 06:53 PM PST

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I signed a lease on a home in the country sight-unseen. Bad idea, I think I've learned my lesson. I was under the impression that the lease included the entire 15+ acre tract that the home sits on. When I arrived at the property this afternoon, I found that approximately 1 arcre of land around the house was fenced off from the remaining land, and the gates are closed and locked with padlocks that I was not provided the keys for. The fences have multiple "No Trespassing" signs facing inward, torwards the house. It's apparent from the placement that the landlords don't want me using the rest of the property. I don't plan on doing much with the extra land, mostly taking walks with my dog and letting my kids camp back in the woods, but it still rubs me the wrong way.

Looking back at the listings for the home, some of them show the home with a 15-acre lot, and some with a 1-acre lot.

The property description in the lease says:

    2. PROPERTY: Landlord leases to the Tenant the following real property: Address: (the address) legally described as: (legal description), ACRES 15.76 in X County, Texas, together with the following non-real property items: ____

I've read through the lease three times, and there is no mention of what parts of the property are or aren't accessible. There is a barn/workshop inside the fenced area that I gave a verbal agreement to give the property owner access to. That was before I signed the lease, and it is not mentioned, either.

Relationship with my landlord/management company, and appearances of being a difficult tenant aside, is there a legal reason I should adress this with management before using the rest of the land?

As the lessee, do the No Tresspassing signs legally apply to me, my children, or my guests?

Are there any other legal issues I should consider before hopping the fence and going for a walk?

If I bring a friend home from the hospital to die, can his family sue me?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 07:34 AM PST

My friend has recently been diagnosed with another form of cancer and is saying he has 5 to 6 months to live. He's currently at a hospital hours away from home under isolation for a month. He's been battling cancer for 8 years and is tired and doesn't wanna spend what life he has left alone in a hospital in pain. He wants to be home or making memories. None of his family or fiancée will listen to him and bring him home. He asked me to. We've both already discussed he will die if I do this but that is what he wants. Can his family sue me when he dies after I bring him home? Edit: We live in Tennessee.

I was convicted in a Special Court Martial, am I considered a felon? What are my options?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 04:37 AM PST

I was convicted in a Special Court Martial and given a bad conduct discharge along 60 days of confinement. I was charged with the military equivalent articles of wire fraud, larceny and attempt. Now that everything has settled, I am curious if I am considered a felon and if I am, if there are any states where I wouldn't be considered one.

My military lawyer in the past said I would not be considered a felon in most states since the maximum punishment at a special court martial is no more than 1 year of confinement. Most posts online from lawyers state the same thing but some say otherwise - short of retaining a lawyer to figure this out for me, how can I check for myself? Is there something such as a federal/state database that checks if I am a felon or not? Also, when doing a background check, will this come up on standard background checks for employment or only higher level background checks if that is a thing?

    Thanks!

My friend (13) gets physically abused by his mom on a regular basis. What should he do?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 07:53 PM PST

First of all, obviously I have his permission to post this and everything written here has been confirmed by him. As for some background information, we are both 13 so we don't know too much about legal issues, thus why I've decided to come here. We live in Canada, although I don't want to specify the province/city because my friend is paranoid about this leading back to him in any way (that's why I'm making this post and not him). We both go to a private school that is quite costly; his mom pays for his tuition.

For this post, the question I'm asking is: should we seek help, and if so, what is the best way to do it?

So my friend, who I'll refer to as A, has been getting abused by his mom since he was about 11 and neglected by his dad for basically his entire life. Out of the two, the dad is the bigger asshole; he gives little to no money to A's family, has hit A's mom many times, and has threatened to harm A in a severe way (choking, bashing his skull, etc). Once, A's mom locked his dad out of the house, and the dad went berserk, ramming the door with decorations and screaming verbal threats. A had to call the police. The dad got off scot-free and only had to spend a night away from the family in a hotel. The police couldn't do much because he was just damaging his own house (yes, he owns the house, and has threatened to kick the family out of the house). A's dad lives in the basement of the house and rarely comes up.

But enough about his dad; his mom is the issue at hand. The mom physically and verbally abuses A on a regular basis. The things she does to A include, but are not limited to:

    • Slapping on the face
    • Throwing objects at him (broomsticks, heavy books)
    • Pushing
    • Insulting
    • Name-calling
    • Threatening to harm him
    • Falsely accusing him

A's mom usually starts beating A over a petty mistake, being too slow at something, or grades. Presumably, she is taking all her anger out on her children (A had an older brother who went through the same things he did as a child). He feels like his mom only sees how he does in school, and not him as a person. He is scared to reach out for help, because if she ever found out, life would be hell for him. The more he talks back, the harder his mom hits. But the biggest reason he doesn't want to reach out to a group like Child Protection Services is because if she loses custody, it's quite likely that A would have to stay with his dad, and that's far worse than staying with his mom. Another reason is that if the mom lost custody, he wouldn't be able to go to the same school anymore, as the school we currently go to is a costly private school that his dad definitely won't pay for.

Not surprisingly, there have been many effects on A's mental health. He's very depressed and suicidal all the time. He has held a knife with intention of suicide once for about 5 minutes, then put it down and collapsed because he was afraid. He has also performed a very light form of cutting himself. Panic attacks and dry-vomiting are quite frequent as a result of beatings or verbal abuse.

I'l be happy to answer any questions in the comments.

So what is my recourse for deducting from the rent for this? Don't care about money just want her to know she can't leave me without water. California btw, and water is included in the rent

My dog was attacked by a pitbull in my apartment complex. Can I take her to small claims court for the vet bills? GA

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 09:09 AM PST

A couple days ago, I was standing a few feet away from the elevator in my apartment complex to head back after walking my dog. My dog was sitting and also on leash. The elevator doors opened and 3 children were with a pitbull (who was on a leash). As soon as they stepped off the elevator their dog lunged at mine (without warning and completely unprovoked) and bit him in the face. He needed to be taken to the emergency vet and had 10 stitches put in. Her dog was uninjured. After meeting with the owner and explaining what happened, she believes that I am negligent for standing where I was and that she is not at fault. I believe that she was being negligent by letting her children walk their dangerous dog around an apartment complex and that she could cover all the vet bills. Do I have a case here and if so, a good chance at winning?

Additional info: - there is no camera footage of the actual incident but there is time stamped footage of them and us leaving the area including a literal trail of blood left by our dog, so I don't think she can claim that it wasn't her dog / kids who were involved - we know the apartment complex she lives in but not the actual apartment number which we need to sue her, so any info on how to obtain that would be helpful! - this is in the state of US state of Georgia - we have reported this to the apartment complex and they said they will not be renewing their lease because of this so I suppose that is a win, but we would really like her to pay the vet bill too

Are police reports filed for every call?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 04:51 PM PST

Hey reddit. So i'm 21 years old. About an hour ago I was stopped by the police on a walk because I was laying up against a tree texting my brother and somebody called the cops, apparently I was in their yard but I didn't even realize it because it was so dark I couldn't see their house. I had a couple of beers tonight but I'm definitely not drunk. The first car showed up and stopped me, the lady cop asked me how I was doing, you know, the basics. Then another car showed up and the dude asked me if I was drinking, I said yes and told him I'd walk home no problem. After searching me he decided to ask me if I had "any trouble or fights at home tonight", I told him no, that everything was fine and I was walking because I had nothing else to do. They all drove off and I walked home.

I'm just wondering if a report would generally be filed for something like this, as I gave them my name and address and I live with my parents who are older, and I really wouldn't want to scare them over something so minor. And I also wouldn't want this to show up on background checks (LMFAO)

My sister has been summoned to appear before the Municipal court for careless driving. What should she do?

Is this serious? No one was hurt. There were no serious damages. Everyone at the scene (including the police) acknowledged that it wasn't her fault. She's freaking but we're not sure what al of this means...

Removing someone from the deed of a home

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 10:17 PM PST

Well.. I think I make a massive mistake. I bought a house over a year ago. I am engaged and was engaged at the time. I am the only person on the mortgage. Both of our names are on the deed....

We are having some very concerning issues that I don't need to get into. I don't know what is going to happen but I want to have a plan. What steps are necessary to rectify the situation? If there are any.
